The model — equity for execution
Partnership balance sheet

What you get
- Operations that holdInfrastructure
- SpeedReleases, not roadmaps
- What we takeShares
- Consulting invoice€0
Two zeros. We put in no money, you get no invoice. What connects the two sides is equity — so we only win when you do.
The foundation — business software for rent
The software we put companies on is our own: usable.software.
Business software for rent, that actually works. We don't start from scratch on every holding — which is why this takes weeks with us, not years.
How it works — from first email to first release
- 01
A call
A conversation, not a pitch deck. You tell us what you are building and where operations are breaking. Whether we are a fit, you hear in that call.
- 02
Taking stock
We go through your processes: what is still manual, what breaks under load, what costs you hours every month. The result is a plan with numbers, not a presentation.
- 03
Equity
Shares for execution, written into a proper agreement. No money flows one way, no invoice comes back the other.
- 04
We build with you
Our engineers work inside your operation, on our software foundation. First releases in weeks, not quarters.
Who this is for — and who it isn't
A fit
- Companies with a real operation and real customers
- Trade, crafts, services, B2B software
- Software is the bottleneck, not demand
- Owners who can and want to give up shares
Not a fit
- Ideas without revenue and without an operation
- Anyone looking for capital rather than engineers
- Projects with a fixed end date
- Anyone who would rather pay an invoice than give up equity
Frequently asked questions
Does Balane Capital invest money?
No. We contribute engineers, operating experience and our own software foundation — not capital. If you are looking for money, you need a fund or a bank, not us.
What does working with you cost?
There is no invoice, no hourly rate and no retainer. We are paid in equity — we only earn when you do.
How large is the stake?
It depends on scope and duration and is negotiated per company. We hold minority stakes: you keep running your company.
How long until the first release?
Usually weeks. We build on usable.software, so we never start from zero.
Is Balane Capital an agency?
No. An agency sends invoices and leaves. We hold shares and stay in the operation.
Where is Balane Capital based?
Munich, Balanstraße 84. We work across German-speaking Europe and are on site regularly.
